Introduction

The Ambe Mata mandir is the most famous center of faith in the city because it is the only temple in the surrounding regions, which is especially dedicated to a prominent Hindu goddess known as Ambe Mata.

It is one of the longest celebrated festivals in India, which is widely recognized even in the world. It lasts for nine days. Every day and mostly night, during Navratri, devotees visit this temple to worship the Ambe Mata. The ninth day of this long-duration festival is considered to be the last day of the Navratri. In the evening of this day, the authority of the temple organizes a program. They also invite singers to perform some devotional songs, which lasts for the next morning. The entire region turns into the most bustling place in the city because not only the local residents but also the people from other cities, visit this Ambe Mata Temple to enjoy this devotional night.

How to reach

This Ambe Mata temple is situated in the city of Ajmer, Rajasthan. It is at Bajrang Chauraha (crossroad), near the Bajrang Temple. If you are not from Ajmer, then you first need to reach Ajmer. You can reach -

By Bus - You can get a bus from anywhere in India. Busses are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, etc. It is not so far from the Ajmer bus stand you can get an auto either for Bajrang Garh or Ambe Mata Temple as both are located nearby.

By Train - After arriving at Ajmer Junction, you can get an auto for the same.

By Air - You can reach the nearest airport, Kishangarh Airport. Then either hire a personal vehicle directly for Ambe Mata temple or get a bus for Ajmer bus stand and do the same as mentioned above.

After arriving at this place, you can also visit some other nearby sites in the city. 

Places near the Ambe Mata Temple

Bajrang Garh - It is the closest similar attraction. This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman Ji. It is situated on the top of a hill from where you can have a look at the entire city, which can give you a wonderful experience in the city.

Daulat Bagh - It is one of the famous gardens not only in the city but also in the state of Rajasthan. You can have a peaceful stroll in this natural garden.

Ana Sagar Lake - It is the famous lake of Rajasthan and the pride of the city of Ajmer. Boat riding is one of the best things to do there. You can also visit the Choupati and taste some famous street foods, which you can find just outside of the same.

Soni Ji Ki Nasiyan - It is also known as Digambar Jain Mandir Nasiya, which is dedicated to the Digambar sect of Jainism.

If you are in Ajmer, then you should never ignore visiting some must-visit tourist attractions of the city like Dargah Sharif, Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, Akbar fort, and museum.
