Introduction

The northwestern state of India, Rajasthan, has the title of the largest state of India. Apart from splendid royal forts, traditional delightful foods, and exciting festivals, Rajasthan state is also famous for colorful cities, which give an extensive exposure of multiple colors of the state. The color of faith is one of them. On the one hand, the pink color's representative, the pink city of Jaipur, and a city furnished with the blue called the blue city of Jodhpur displays the unique identity of Rajasthan. On the other hand, the city of Ajmer spreads the color of faith and beliefs, where you can find multiple centers of all faith such as Dargah Sharif, Nareli Teerth, Gurudwara Sahib, and also there are many temples, which represent Hinduism. The Bajrang Garh is one of them, which is one of the major centers of the Hindus in the city of Ajmer.

About the Bajrang Garh

And the literal meaning of Garh is a fort. That means it is a fort in which Hindu Lord Hanuman Ji or Bajrang Bali lives. Therefore, this temple is known as Bajrang Garh.

This temple literally looks like a fort as you can find many forts of kings situated on the top of the hill in a pro-active position to protect the people. Similarly, the Bajrang Garh is, which is also situated on the top of a majestic mountain hill, looks magnificent. And the king of the temple, Lord Hanuman Ji, protects the entire city. Therefore, it won't be wrong to say the fact that he is also the king of the city of Ajmer. The lord Hanuman Ji is seated in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in the form of years old gorgeous stone idol.

It is the deep devotion of devotees, which presents them in front of the lord in a large number. And also, it is the splendor of this temple that invites people from very far and wide because it is one of the few widely recognized temples dedicated to Hanuman Ji in India.

According to Hindu theology, Hanuman Ji is a great disciple of Bhagwan Shri Ram. He is also considered one of the most physically and mentally powerful deities in Hinduism. He is a prominent symbol of power. Therefore, people have been worshipping him unconditionally since the ages with strong faith and celebrating multiple festivals in his name in different parts of the country.

However, one famous festival called Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated every year all over India and by Hindus in various parts of the world, as this day marks the birth of Lord Hanuman.

On this day, the Bajrang Garh temple becomes a major hotspot in the surrounding region as people from very far visit this place to celebrate one of the most popular Indian festivals, Hanuman Jayanti.

The authority decorates the temple with thousands of flowers and artificial sparkling lights through which the entire temple glistened up in the evening. Though the entire region of Bajrang Garh, always filled with the crowd, mostly on Tuesday and Saturday, on this special occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, this complete area transformed into a most bustling place in the city, which should never be ignored by any visitor.

As mentioned previously, this temple is situated on a hilltop. Therefore, there are two series of stairs leading to the temple. That means there are two ways to reach there. The temple has an extensive area with all the facilities. You can have a comprehensive look at a lush garden of Daulat Bagh and the lavish lake of Ana Sagar, as both are located nearby, and also, being there, you can appreciate an exquisite view of the sunset. You can also admire the entire sparkling city from there after the sun sets completely.

Location

Bajrang Garh temple is located in the Ajmer city of Rajasthan, India. Its location is very prominent in the city as you can find multiple shops and big shopping malls in its surroundings. You can also find guest houses and hotels as well as some restaurants to taste the famous food of Ajmer, near the Bajrang Temple.
You can spend your entire day there, without getting bored because not only shopping malls and restaurants but also the famous garden of the city called Daulat Bagh and the beautiful lake of Ana Sagar is also located near to the temple.

How to reach

By Bus - You can reach Ajmer bus stand from any of the cities like Delhi, Jaipur, etc. Then get an auto for Bajrang Garh temple. You will be there in very little time.

By Train - Use local transport like an auto or rickshaw. The distance between Ajmer Junction to Bajrang Garh is very little time-consuming, which will be covered within a few minutes.

By Air - Either get a bus or hire a personal taxi from the nearest airport, The Kishangarh Airport.

Ana Sagar Lake - It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. It is just adjacent to Bajrang Garh temple and Daulat Bagh.

Daulat Bagh - It is one of the historically famous gardens in the state of Rajasthan. It is filled with fountains, waterfalls, beautiful flowers, and trees. Baradari is a splendid place in the garden.

Soni Ji Ki Nasiyan - It is a magnificent temple of Jainism, which is dedicated to the Digambar sect of Jain religion.

You can also visit Dargah Sharif and Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, as these are must-visit places in the city.
